City Teaching Alliance is seeking a Director of Communications & Regional Engagement to shape and elevate our national brand story while deepening regional engagement across our four program cities—Baltimore & Central Maryland, Dallas, Greater DC Metro, and Philadelphia.
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications, this leader will develop and execute a unified communications strategy that strengthens awareness, credibility, and support for City Teaching Alliance. The Director will work across teams to connect marketing, fundraising, and community engagement efforts through compelling storytelling and strategic visibility.
This is an ideal role for an experienced communications professional who thrives at the intersection of brand, media, and mission-driven work—and who believes that powerful stories can change the future of education.

The part-time Marketing & Communications Coordinator will play a key role in elevating City Teaching Alliance’s brand and supporting recruitment marketing efforts. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications team, this position will help design engaging content, manage digital campaigns, and maintain a consistent and compelling organizational presence across platforms.
From November 2025 through March 2026, the Coordinator will assist with newsletters, social media, and media tracking while ensuring brand consistency and creative storytelling that reflects our mission. This is an ideal opportunity for an emerging marketing professional who is passionate about education, communication, and design.

The Part-Time Human Resources Manager will play a key role in building and sustaining an engaged, high-performing workforce. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources and Administrative Services, this position is responsible for leading recruitment, strengthening learning and development initiatives, supporting performance management processes, generating HR-related reports, and driving employee engagement efforts. The Human Resources Manager will partner with leadership to ensure alignment between people’s practices and organizational goals, while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
