Anthony Hernandez
Executive Director in Dallas.
Anthony is a proud Fort Worth resident and has dedicated his life to investing in the Dallas-Fort Worth community. A graduate of Texas Christian University, where he majored in Communications and minored in English, Anthony began his career teaching English/language arts to high school students. He has since held several positions within City Teaching Alliance, including, Resident Experience Coordinator, Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist, and Assistant Director.
Anthony joined City Teaching Alliance because children deserve good teachers, and teachers deserve support and attention and understanding how to do a good job. He believes organizations like City Teaching Alliance have an opportunity to redefine how teachers can be successful.
During his time as a teacher, Anthony took pride in the impact he had on his students, and since joining the City Teaching Alliance team, he is excited to see the influence he has had on participants, with many participants returning to and investing in the Dallas-Fort Worth community after completing the program.
He hopes City Teaching Alliance continues to innovate and looks forward to continued expansion in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
