This means your donation has double the impact in bringing us closer to ensuring that every student has access to the high-quality education they deserve. 

WHY WE’RE PARTICIPATING

City Teaching Alliance was founded with a powerful purpose: to disrupt educational inequity by empowering well-prepared teachers who positively affect academic and life outcomes for all children. We know that teachers are the single most important in-school factor affecting student success, and the impact of a highly effective teacher goes far beyond academics, helping to bridge opportunity gaps and set students on a path to a future filled with possibilities. Yet, the need for talented, dedicated educators is greater than ever – and we are called to continue our work. 

THE OPPORTUNITY

As we celebrate our 15th anniversary, please consider making a “15” gift – in any amount you’re comfortable with. Whether you are able to commit to a gift of $150, $1,500, or even $3,015.15, your contribution supports the coaching and ongoing training our participants rely on to become life-changing educators! You can even spread your gift throughout the year, giving $15, $150, or another increment of your choice per month (at $15/month, that’s $180 per year and $360 with our matching opportunity!). By supporting our work, you’re not only investing in literacy and numeracy, but in the social-emotional growth and leadership development of the next generation of changemakers. You’re helping ensure that every child has a mentor who believes in them, sees their potential, and instills in them the tools and confidence to pursue their dreams.

• Mark Your Calendar: Giving Tuesday is December 3rd, and thanks to our matching gift, this is the best time to make a contribution that has double the impact. You can also make your Giving Tuesday donation early! We’re accepting gifts from today until 11:59 PM ET on December 3rd! 
• Donate on December 3rd – we’ll be shouting out donors on our socials throughout the day! Every gift, matched dollar-for-dollar, will help us reach and serve more students!
• Give in honor of a special teacher in your family or friends’ circle who goes that extra mile for their students every day, or a teacher you remember fondly because of the difference they made for you. Help more children experience the gift of a great teacher!
