On Thursday, November 7, 2024, representatives from our vibrant City Teaching Alliance Washington, DC community gathered for an intimate evening dedicated to welcoming our new CEO, Dr. Rahesha Amon, and celebrating 15 years of impact while exploring the future of education. Held at Hogan Lovells US LLP’s beautiful space, the event brought together a cross-section of supporters, educators, thought leaders, and advocates who share our commitment to fostering equity in education.
Following a reception, the event featured an inspiring panel discussion with industry experts and leaders who shared insights into the challenges and opportunities ahead in building a stronger, more equitable education system. The panel was followed by a toast to 15 years of serving students!

As we reflect on this event – City Teaching Alliance’s first of many in our new chapter – we are reminded of the importance of our mission and the community that supports it. Thank you for being part of our journey as we continue to build the Alliance and co-create bright futures for students everywhere!
A Special Thanks
This event wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our generous partners, including Hogan Lovells and M&T Bank, and the dedication of our volunteers and staff! We are deeply grateful for everyone who contributed to making the event a success.
