We Know What Works

By investing in educators of color, first-generation college graduates, and lifelong learners, we are transforming the face of teaching and driving meaningful outcomes for students nationwide.

Every dollar fuels stronger teacher retention, higher student achievement, and thriving school communities. When you support this work, you are helping to scale what we know drives equity and results in classrooms.

Retention and Impact: Fellows receive two years of immersive development, two years of wraparound support, and leave with a master’s degree and the confidence and skills to become lifelong educators. 

Equity and Representation: 76% of our newest cohort identifies as people of color — transforming the face of the teaching profession to look like the communities that we serve; the communities that exist across America. 40% of this year’s fellows are first-gen college graduates. 

Scale and Reach: Since 2009, our teachers have impacted the lives of 450,000+ students across more than 500 schools. 

Leadership and Recognition: 14 alumni were named Teacher of the Year or Teacher of Promise in 2024. We don’t just have the numbers; we have the impact.
